LZ's questionable revitalization

LZ downtown revitalization is at a standstill...with townhomes built and not selling..plus our gateway building may never be built due to disagreements on funding by the developer and Village of LZ. This info comes from the Village newsletter.So, LZ continues to be in debt and the TIF district may have problems paying what it owes to the schools. No TIF money has come as yet to the library. The one good thing to come out of LZ's revitalization in the Route 22 Bypass. The review says "when the project is completed" I question "if" this project will ever be completed is a better choice of words. With unsold townhomes and empty vacant lots where houses and businesses used to stand...before the Village of LZ tore them down in the name of "progress".
